JEZA NADIR
Jeza Nadir is currently a practicum student at Silm Centre for Mental Health, where she provides psychological support to adolescents and adults under the supervision of Dr. Taslim. She is in her second year of her Master’s in Psychology at Adler Graduate Professional School. Her approach to therapy is collaborative. She works with clients to discover their unique strengths and use them to meet their needs. Together, she and her clients explore what those strengths are and how they can help them thrive. In her practice, Jeza draws from a blend of techniques including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). She also focuses on creating an inclusive, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed space. Outside of her work at Silm, Jeza enjoys baking, making music, hiking with her dog, and watching movies.
